The type of data collected and the purpose of its processing
The personal data that Diwar collects and processes includes name, address, telephone number, email address (e-mail), fiscal code or VAT number and any other optional information.
Diwar collects and processes personal data provided voluntarily by the user to perform all the business of selling products through the Website and closely related activities (such as fraud prevention, management of product returns, Product warrantees, customer support, involvement in initiatives offered on the Website, requests made to Diwar for information relating to the purchase of Products or rather the communication to Diwar relating to these activities. Diwar will also process the personal information of the user in order to assert or defend a right in a judicial branch and for the fulfillment of obligations under applicable laws, regulations and EU legislation.
In accordance with Article 3 of the Privacy Code, the collection of personal data by Diwar will cover only the information strictly necessary to carry out sales activities as well as other related activities.
Moreover, with the prior consent of the user, as well as free and optional, Diwar will be able to handle the user’s personal data for marketing purposes, i.e. to send the user information, via newsletter, about Products, information about Diwar and about events and other such initiatives organized by Diwar or in which Diwar participates, including possible invitations to such events. The user will always have the ability to revoke his/her consent to receiving the newsletter. In every communication there will be a section that specifies how to withdraw consent and stop receiving the newsletter.
The provision of personal data
The provision of data by the user is required to carry out the business of selling Products through the Website, and activities related to them. Moreover, the provision of personal data is obligatory to satisfy the requirements of legislative nature; failure to provide personal data by the user in the cases mentioned above will make it impossible for the user to receive the services, the Products requested and to receive replies and information requested from Diwar.
The provision of data by the user for marketing purposes, as specified above, is free and optional; in this case, failure to provide will have no consequence.

The characteristics and methods of processing personal data
Personal data collected by Diwar is treated mainly with electronic means. Such data may also be processed manually. In any case the data is stored only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the specific objectives pursued each time and in compliance with the Privacy Code.
In accordance with Attachment B to the Privacy Code (Technical Procedural Guidelines regarding minimum security) Diwar will process personal data in accordance with current safety regulations in order to minimize the risk of destruction and loss, also accidental, of data, unauthorized access, unauthorized or incorrect use of data, and processing of data without consent or inconsistent with the purposes of data collection.
Extent of disclosure of personal data
The personal data of the user will be accessible to our staff in charge of data processing in relation to the above purposes and to the Data Processing Manager. The complete, updated list of data processors and individuals to whom the data is available upon request to Diwar.
The personal data of the user may be communicated to professionals, partners, and third parties who carry out technical and organizational services and may be needed by Diwar for the purposes specified above. These individuals, who may owners, managers or individuals in charge of processing, will process the data, as appropriate, for the purposes specified above and in full compliance with the Privacy Code; these individuals will have access only to the information necessary to perform their relative functions. The personal data of the user will not be disclosed in any way.
In compliance with Article. 7 of the Privacy Code, the user has the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning him, to know the origin of the content, to verify its accuracy, to ask to update or add to the data, to rectify the data, to cancellation, to transform it to anonymous form, to block any data in violation of the law as well as the right to object to the processing of data for legitimate reasons.
